Posted

The post Halloween, Christmas frenzy has begun. Taking a stroll around town shows tis the season.

There are snowflakes and Christmas trees adorning the shop windows, add the chill in the air and you have the start of a Hallmark movie, but the thing on most people’s minds is what to buy for the loved ones.

As stores post Black Friday and Cyber Monday deals, and small businesses gear up for open houses and Small Business Saturday, consumers are ready shell out money for their loved ones.

But just how much are they willing to spend?

According to Celigo, 80 percent of people surveyed said they plan to spend less than $5,000 and 41 percent are hoping to spend under $1,000.

Whatever your spending budget may be there are deals a plenty. It seems that one cannot venture onto any facets of the internet without seeing an advertisement for some kind of deal for an online retailer. Facebook is full of small businesses showcasing their wares for potential buyers to see.

It seems that all the experts agree social media ads are the best way to target buyers and have the best return on investment.

All the data is well and good, but most people have at least one person who they are unsure of what to give them. Studies have shown ChatGPT and other AI sources are being used to generate gift ideas. The AI suggests various gifts after entering who the gift is for or interests of the person.

Whether you shop online or prefer the brick-and-mortar stores, big box or small business, there are multiple ways you can purchase gifts for those in your life this holiday season.
