Narcotics Anonymous Meetings

Every Friday beginning at 7 p.m.; every Sunday at 5 p.m.; second Tuesday of every month at 7 p.m. All held at the Overton County Library. The program is not sponsored by the library. For more information call (931) 303-2132.

Relative Caregiver Program Support Group Meeting

Are you raising a relative child or need housing assistance? For more information on assistance and support, please contact Melissa Allison at the Upper Cumberland Development District toll-free at 1-877-275-8233. A support group meeting will be held for relatives that are caring for relative children during this month. Please contact Melissa Allison at (931) 476-4127 if you are interested in attending this meeting. For housing assistance, while caring for minor child contact Myra Walker at 931-432-4111.

The Stephens Center Parent-Child Connection

Spring 2022, Series II: Wednesdays 1 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. Sessions are held at the Stephens Center, located at 616 North Church St., Livingston. Certificates will be awarded to parents attending eight sessions within the series. There is no charge for PCC sessions. April 27: “Owning & Communicating Feelings”. Spring Fling

Dry Hollow Fire Department will have its spring fling celebration April 30 starting at 2 p.m. at the Dry Hollow Fire Department at 585 Dry Hollow Rd. in Rickman. Proceeds will benefit the fire department.

Fish Fry

The Alpine Fire Department will have a fist fry on Saturday, April 30 at the fire department from 2-6 p.m.

Catfish Classic

The Boddy Massingille Memorial Catfish Classic & Fish Fry will be held May 6-7. The Catfish Classic will be held Horse Creek Boat Dock, located at 703 Horse Creek Rd. in Celina on Friday. The fish fry will be held at East 52 VFD at 4662 Livingston Hwy, Celina on Saturday starting at 6 p.m.

Legion Dance

We’re having an extra dance this month. The Quittin’ Tyme band will be with us for a fun filled evening of dancing and country music on Friday April 29th from 7-10 p.m. at the American Legion Post in Livingston located at 121 S. Church St. All dances are family friendly and open to the public, membership not necessary. Concessions are available.

Legion Meeting

The Livingston American Legion and Auxiliary will hold their monthly meetings on Tuesday, May 3rd at post headquarters located at 121 S. Church St. The Auxiliary meets at 5:30 p.m. and the Legion meeting begins at 6:00 p.m.

Head Start Council

The monthly meeting of the L.B.J. & C. Head Start Policy Council has been scheduled for Tuesday, May 3 beginning at 6 p.m. The meeting will be held at the L.B.J.& C. Development Corporation, 1150 Chocolate Drive in Cookeville.
