Johnny Fletcher Jr.

Johnny Fletcher Jr, better known as “June,” age 80, passed away on November 17, 2023, in Algood, Tennessee after a sudden illness.

Johnny was born on June 9, 1943, to Jessie Mullins Fletcher and Johnnie Fletcher, Sr. in Livingston Tennessee.

Johnny spent many years operating heavy equipment and driving cattle trucks. He was known for his charismatic personality and daily drives around town.  When he wasn't on the road, Johnny enjoyed visiting friends, spending time with family, collecting coins, playing cards, and watching westerns on TV. He had a love for animals, especially his faithful companion, Odie, his best "dog" friend for 14 years.

Johnny is survived by his loving wife of many years, Juanita Cobble Fletcher. Johnny and Juanita met when Johnny was cruising the Livingston Square on a Friday night, and Juanita was working at the “The Grill” waiting tables. The two locked eyes through the window and fell instantly in love. The love birds married on February 26th, 1966, began a family and 57 years later, they were still madly in love.

In addition to his loving wife, he was also survived by his loving Son, Mark Jason Fletcher, and wife Brandi Fletcher of Cookeville.

Ten Grandchildren, Michael Dylan Fletcher, Brooke Fletcher, Mark Fletcher, Addyson Fletcher, Heather Moore, Cody and Chase Fletcher, Marisa Price, Elijah, and Kelsey Hill.

Johnny was preceded in death by his parents, mother Jessie Mullins Fletcher and father Johnnie Fletcher, Sr., as well as his sons Richard Kelly Fletcher and Michael Kelvin Fletcher. He was also preceded in death by his sister Betty Fletcher Smith, and brothers Frank, Gibb, Willie, Charlie, and Bud Fletcher.
