Coming back from combat is a harrowing journey that not everyone can fully appreciate, but there are organizations that are helping the people in their journey.  Cross the Divide is a veteran-led non-profit that takes veterans into nature to promote mental healing. Cross the Divide states their mission is to “[help] veterans and their families navigate the challenging terrain of life, promoting healing, hope, strength and growth by application of Biblical truths in the venue of God’s creation.”
