The Overton County General Sessions Court Judge along with the Overton County Sheriff aim to send a message to those who have neglected to keep up with their court dates.
General Sessions Court Judge Daryl Colson and Sheriff John Garrett informed the courts will be acting upon warrants that have been issued for cost issues.
Colson exhibited a rash of leniency to those that had been picked up for this session stating that the court system has been reopened since March 15. He gave those who had recently been picked up a chance at redemption to make right on their fines and court dates, giving them all until June 15.
