Vivian Adele Walker
Vivian Adele Walker, 64, of Rickman, passed away from the Select Specialty Hospital on April 7. Services were held on April 10 from the chapel of Hall Funeral Home. Interment followed in the Harris Chapel cemetery. Bro. Jonathan Ledbetter officiated.
She was born in Livingston on Oct. 3, 1956. She was a 1974 graduate of Livingston Academy and a member of the Church of Christ. After high school, she worked as a nurse’s aid at the Lady Ann Memorial Hospital. She was also famously known to be a great cook. She welcomed everyone into her home.
She was preceded in death by grandparents, Buster and Lola McAlpin; and uncles Thomas McAlpin and Allon White.
She is survived by parents, Allard White and Naomi McAlpin White; husband, Gary Walker; sons, Michael Walker and wife, Connie, Jason Walker and wife, Christina and Brandon Walker; brother, David White; sister, Vicki White; grandchildren, Peyton Walker, Mason Walker, Colton Walker, Colson Walker, Paxton Cade Walker, Brody Walker and Katelyn Walker; niece, Alicia White Gunnels; aunts, Ethel White and Maybelle McAlpin; cousins Anita White Burnett, Karen White Baltimore, Kim McAlpin Horn, Tommy McAlpin, Timmy McAlpin, Kris McAlpin; brothers-in-law, Larry Walker and wife, Karoline, Tony Walker and wife, Lesia; sisters-in-law, Cindy Dial and the late Frank Dial, and Anita Taylor and husband, Chris Taylor; also survived are many other nieces, nephews, and special friends who loved her dearly as she loved them.

Kenneth L. Vaughn
Kenneth L. Vaughn, 74, of Livingston, passed away April 12 at his home. Services were held at Hall Funeral Home on Sunday, April 18. Pastors Jerry Harris and Jim Hodge officiated.
He was born on June 18, 1946. He was a member of Highland Freewill Baptist Church in Livingston. He was in the Army 101st Airborne. He was a retired truck driver with Averett Express for 35 years. He enjoyed farming, planting, and growing his garden and taking care of his orchard. He loved showing and driving his 1957 Ford Fairlaine at car shows and parades locally.
He was preceded in death by wife, Annanoi (Annie) Vaughn; parents, Tilda and Benjamin Vaughn; son, Kevin Vaughn; brothers, Chester, Oren, Joe and Rudy Vaughn; sisters, Ileen Vaughn Phillips and husband, Eugene, and Martha Vaughn Hargis and husband, Doc; and brother-in-law, Homer Dixon.
He is survived by son, Kreg Vaughn and wife, Penny; daughter of the heart, Jordan Barsness; sister, Ella Jean Vaughn Dixon; sister-in-law, Mary Phillips Vaughn; daughter-in-law, Kyleene Vaughn, of Anderson, Ind.; grandchildren Christy Vaughn Barron, Shayleene Vaughn Brault and husband, Brandon, of Anderson, Ind., Nicholas Vaughn, Alyssa Vaughn Coale and husband, Evan; and four great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Bobby L. Peters
Bobby L. Peters, 84, of Livingston, passed away from his residence on April 14. A private family service is scheduled for the future. The family has chosen cremation.
He was born in Garrison, W. Va., on April 21, 1936. He was a hard workingman and he loved his family very much. He had a kindness that was seen in just talking with him.
He was preceded in death by parents, Lewis and Virginia Cantley Peters.
He is survived by companion, Pat Grey; sons, Morris Peters, Rob Peters and wife, Patty, David Peters and wife, Jennie Lyn; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and a host of family and friends also survive.
Hall Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
Clifford E. Paul
Clifford E. Paul, 82, of Alpine, passed away at his residence on April 11. Funeral services were held on April 15 from the chapel of Hall Funeral Home. Bro. John Copeland officiated.
He was born in Alpine on June 17, 1938.
He was preceded in death by parents, Homer W. Paul and Magdalene Stover Paul; wife Geneva Paul; brother Glenn Paul; and sisters Charlene Collins and Carol Paul.
He is survived by daughters Sherry Holland and husband, Tim, and Amanda Colleen Spies; ex-wife, Jane (Paul Spies) Vaughn; son, Aaron Eugene and wife, Melanie Spies; brothers, Jim Paul, Robert Paul, Tommy Paul, Ray Paul, Mark Paul and Johnny Paul; sister, Shirley Paul; grandsons, Brandon Upton, Trenton Spies and Mason Spies; granddaughters, Roza Spies and Nina Spies; and a host of friends and family.
Jennifer Lynn Young Coffey and Nora Victoria Coffey
Jennifer Lynn Young Coffey, 39, of Livingston, and her infant daughter Nora Victoria Coffey, passed away on April 9 and April 5, respectively, from the Erlanger Medical Center in Chattanooga. Funeral services were held on April 14 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Bro. Steve Barlow officiated. Interment followed in the Beaty Cemetery.
She was born on June 12, 1981 in Livingston. She was a 1999 graduate of Livingston Academy and was close to having her Doctorate Degree. She was currently the Pharmacy Tech teacher at Tennessee College of Applied Technology, where she loved teaching. She was always looking to help others before herself. She enjoyed working for Holts Family Pharmacy before becoming a teacher. Her greatest joy in life was her family.
Jennifer and Nora were preceded in death by Jennifer’s mother, Sandra Raye Roberts Young.
Jennifer is survived by husband, Clyde Coffey; daughter, Haleigh Coffey; father, Jimmy Young; brother, Phillip Young and wife, Brooke; mother-in-law, Geneva Coffey; father-in-law, Jimmy Coffey and wife, Toby; nephews Barrett and Cason Young; and several aunts and uncles.
Pallbearers who served were Isaac Kristin, Nathan Kristin, John Hall, James King, James Copeland, Curt Long, Daniel Lancaster, Johnnie Linder and Preston Parks.
Roy Junior Edwards
Roy Junior Edwards, 48, of Livingston, passed away from his residence on April 9.
He was born in Dayton, Ohio, on Jan. 21, 1973.
He is survived by daughters, Tara Fay Kirby and husband, Dalton Lane Kirby, and Destiny Faith Edwards; sons, George Roy Ronald Edwards and wife, Jessica Edwards, and Allan Dewayne Edwards; brothers, Richard Edwards and Curtis Edwards; sister, Ruby Edwards; and grandchildren Heath and Hazel Kirby.
The family has chosen cremation. Hall Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
