Traditional testing is now available Monday through Friday at the Overton County Fairgrounds from 8:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.

Spring 2021, Series II: Wednesdays 1 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. Sessions are held at the Stephens Center, located at 616 North Church St., Livingston. UCDD Offers Relative Caregiver, Housing
Are you raising a relative child or need housing assistance? A support group meeting will be held for relatives that are caring for relative children during the month of March 2021. Cookeville Cemetery Clean Up
The Cookeville Department of Leisure Services announces that the summer mowing season will soon begin and requests that all flowers and arrangements placed on the ground at the City Cemetery be removed before March 24. Also, please consider replacing or removing any seasonal or holiday arrangements. All flowers or arrangements on the ground after March 24 will be disposed of by the Cemetery Grounds Staff.
LA Band Fundraiser
On Saturday, March 27 and April 24, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. Livingston Academy’s “Spirit of the Wildcats” marching band will be hosting a drive-thru recycle day fundraiser in the lot beside Hardee’s restaurant on West Main Street in Livingston. Those donating shouldn’t need to leave their vehicles. If loading or delivery assistance is needed, please contact John McMillen at 931-252-6479. They’ll be accepting donations of aluminum cans, scrap metal, copper, washers, dryers, refrigerators, dishwashers, vehicles with titles, and old farm equipment. If there are any questions, please contact Jenny Story, band president, at 931-261-0233. Donations will aid in the marching band’s instrument repairs, purchase of band equipment, and will go towards other financial needs so these students can enjoy the band program to its fullest.
The L.B.J. & C. Development Corporation Head Start Centers and the Central Office will be closed April 2 in observance of Good Friday.

The Upper Cumberland Human Resource Agency (UCHRA) will hold a commodities distribution for Overton County ( Hanging Limb) on Tuesday, April 13, from 9 a.m. unti l 11 a.m. at the Hanging Limb Fire Department. Sign up will be available at the distribution site.
