Drive Thru COVID-19 Testing Locations

Traditional testing is now available Monday through Friday at the Overton County Fairgrounds from 8:30 a.m. until 10:30 a.m.

Free Flu Shots

The Overton County Health Department is offering free flu shots every Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. until 4:15 p.m. The shots can be administered within the facility or you can request outside services.

The Stephens Center Parent-Child Connection

Spring 2021, Series I: Wednesdays 1 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. Sessions are held at the Stephens Center, located at 616 North Church St., Livingston. Certificates will be awarded to parents attending eight sessions within the series. There is no charge for PCC sessions. March 3: “Make-Up Session.” For more information, call 832-6432.

UCDD Offers Relative Caregiver, Housing


Are you raising a relative child or need housing assistance? For more information on assistance and support, please contact Melissa Allison at the Upper Cumberland Development District toll-free at 1-877-275-8233. A support group meeting will be held for relatives that are caring for relative children during the month of March 2021. Please contact Melissa Allison at 931-476-4127, if you are interested in attending this meeting. For housing assistance, while caring for a minor child, contact Myra Walker at 931-432-4111.

Coffee With A Vet

Livingston’s American Legion Post 4 and Auxiliary Unit 4 along will be hosting “Coffee with a Veteran” on Saturday, March 6 from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. at American Legion Post 4 headquarters located at 121 S. Church St., Livingston.

Legion Dances Begin Again

Join the fun with the SlickNickel band at the American Legion on Friday, March 5 from 7 p.m. until 10 p.m. They are located at 121 S. Church St. in Livingston. Enjoy an evening of country music and dancing. All dances are family friendly and open to the public, membership not necessary. Concessions will be available. Face coverings are recommended.

The United Daughters of the Confederacy, Captain Sally Tompkins 2123 will have its monthly meeting Friday, March 5 at 1 p.m. in the upper level of the Putnam County Library.
