Free Flu Shots
The Overton County Health Department is offering free flu shots every Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. until 4:15 p.m. The shots can be administered within the facility or you can request outside services.
The Stephens Center Parent-Child
Spring 2021, Series I: Wednesdays 1 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. Sessions are held at the Stephens Center, located at 616 North Church St., Livingston. Certificates will be awarded to parents attending eight sessions within the series. There is no charge for PCC sessions. Relative Caregiver, Housing Assistance
Are you raising a relative child or need housing assistance? For more information on assistance and support, please contact Melissa Allison at the Upper Cumberland Development District toll-free at 1-877-275-8233. A support group meeting will be held for relatives that are caring for relative children during the month of February 2021. The L.B.J. & C. Development Corporation Head Start Centers and the Central Office will be closed Feb. 15 in observance of Presidents’ Day.
Livingston Trash Routes
Garbage routes in the Town of Livingston will temporarily change in order for the City to observe Presidents’ Day. Trash will not be picked up on Monday, Feb. 15. Monday’s trash route will be picked up on Tuesday, Feb. 16.
All Overton County Convenience Centers will be closed Monday, Feb. 15 in observance of President’s Day. Regular business hours will resume Tuesday, Feb. 16.
The Upper Cumberland Human Resource Agency (UCHRA) will hold a commodities distribution for Overton County (Livingston) on Tuesday, Feb. 23 from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m. at the Overton County Fairgrounds. Sign up will be available at the distribution site.
