Traditional testing is not available Monday, Wednesday, Friday and self-testing is only available to adults. Traditional testing will still be offered on Tuesday and Thursday at no charge: Overton County Health Department from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m.
Free Flu Shots
The Overton County Health Department is offering free flu shots every Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. until 4:15 p.m. The shots can be administered within the facility or you can request outside services.
The Stephens Center Parent-Child
Spring 2021, Series I: Wednesdays 1 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. Sessions are held at the Stephens Center, located at 616 North Church St., Livingston. Certificates will be awarded to parents attending eight sessions within the series. There is no charge for PCC sessions. Feb. 3: “Personal Power.” For more information, call 832-6432.
Relative Caregiver, Housing Assistance
Are you raising a relative child or need housing assistance? For more information on assistance and support, please contact Melissa Allison at the Upper Cumberland Development District toll-free at 1-877-275-8233. A support group meeting will be held for relatives that are caring for relative children during the month of February 2021. The United Daughters Of The Confederacy
The United Daughters of the Confederacy, Captain Sally Tompkins 2123 will have its monthly meeting Friday, Feb. 5 at 1 p.m. in the upper level of the Putnam County Library.
Coffee With A Vet
Livingston’s American Legion Post 4 and Auxiliary Unit 4 will be hosting “Coffee with a Veteran” on Saturday, Feb. 6 from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. at American Legion Post 4 headquarters located at 121 S. Church St., Livingston for the public and those who have served or who are currently serving in our armed forces can have coffee, conversation, and enjoy the comradeship.
The Upper Cumberland Human Resource Agency (UCHRA) will hold a commodities distribution for Overton County (Hanging Limb) on Tuesday, Feb. 9 from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. at the Hanging Limb Fire Department. Sign up will be available at the distribution site. Board of Directors Meeting
The L.B.J. & C. Development Corporation Board of Director’s will hold their bi-monthly meeting Tuesday, Feb. 9 at the L.B.J.& C. Development Corporation, 1150 Chocolate Drive, Cookeville. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m.
Livingston Trash Routes
Garbage routes in the Town of Livingston will temporarily change in order for the City to observe Presidents’ Day. Trash will not be picked up on Monday, Feb. 15. Monday’s trash route will be picked up on Tuesday, Feb. 16.
