Drive Thru COVID-19 Testing Locations

Traditional testing is not available Monday, Wednesday, Friday and self-testing is only available to adults. Traditional testing will still be offered on Tuesday and Thursday at no charge: Overton County Health Department from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m.

Free Flu Shots

The Overton County Health Department is offering free flu shots every Monday-Friday from 8 a.m. until 4:15 p.m. The shots can be administered within the facility or you can request outside services.

The Stephens Center Parent-Child

Connection

Spring 2021, Series I: Wednesdays 1 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. Sessions are held at the Stephens Center, located at 616 North Church St., Livingston. Certificates will be awarded to parents attending eight sessions within the series. There is no charge for PCC sessions. Jan. 27: “Discipline/Rewards & Punishment.” For more information, call 832-6432.

Program Support Group Meeting

Are you raising a relative child or need housing assistance? For more information on assistance and support, please contact Melissa Allison at the Upper Cumberland Development District toll free at 1-877-275-8233. A support group meeting will be held for relatives that are caring for relative children during the month of January 2021. Volunteer Tennessee Board

Volunteer Tennessee will hold a virtual business meeting on Thursday, January 28, 2021 from 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. CST. The agenda for the meeting will include approval of minutes and discussion of the Volunteer Tennessee 2022-2024 State Plan development process. Policy Council Meeting

The monthly meeting of the L.B.J. & C. Head Start Policy Council has been scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 2 beginning at 6 p.m. The meeting will be held at the L.B.J. & C. Development Corporation, 1150 Chocolate Drive, Cookeville.

The United Daughters Of The Confederacy

The United Daughters of the Confederacy, Captain Sally Tompkins 2123 will have its monthly meeting Friday, Feb. 5 at 1 p.m. in the upper level of the Putnam County Library.

Board of Directors Meeting

The L.B.J. & C. Development Corporation Board of Director’s will hold their bi-monthly meeting Tuesday, Feb. 9 at the L.B.J.& C. Development Corporation, 1150 Chocolate Drive, Cookeville. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m.
