The Livingston Municipal Airport assisted in an emergency landing last Wednesday after a four-passenger craft lost power.
On Wednesday morning, a Kentucky pilot set flight to Athens, Ga. from Louisville, Ky. unsuspecting of any complication, and shortly after passing over the Livingston Municipal Airport, the aircraft lost all power.
The three passengers on board were traveling from Louisville, Ky. to Athens, Ga.
Mary Allen—one passenger on board—said it all happened so quickly.
“We lost power and [the pilot] couldn’t communicate,” she said. “[The pilot] remembered seeing a [landing strip] here.”
