The Livingston Academy Wildcats dropped a region game on the road Friday when they traveled to Smithville where they were defeated 38-14 by the DeKalb County Tigers.
“This is over, there’s nothing you can do about this one. We’ve got to get ready for White County, we’ve got to come back with a fire under our butt,” head coach Bruce Lamb said.
The Wildcats fought hard, but it wasn’t enough to match the strength of the Tigers passing game or the determination of their defensive secondary.
DeKalb would win the coin toss and elect to defer until the second half of play, leaving the Wildcats with the opening offensive possession.
