The Town of Livingston Board of Mayor and Alderman met last night in their regularly scheduled meeting and discussed guidelines pertaining to the Arts Build Communities grant Livingston had recently been awarded.
As previously reported in the Livingston Enterprise, Livingston-Overton County Chamber of Commerce Director Shannon Cantrell and other members of the Downtown Revitalization Committee met and agreed upon the guidelines property and business owners would have to adhere to for murals that are to be funded by the grant.
The guidelines that were presented are to be followed when selecting a business, the site criteria and design of the murals. The community had been approved for $1,195 to go toward funding two murals with a 50% match from interested business owners.
