April Court Date Is Set For Alleged Cattle Thieves

As previously reported in the Livingston Enterprise, two men were arrested in conjunction with the alleged theft of an Overton County man’s cattle in February—one of the perpetrators was a former Cookeville Police officer.

Shannon Smith, 48 of Cookeville and a former police officer, was indicted on two counts of theft of property for taking 17 calves of an Overton County man, Randall Dixon.
