Drive Thru COVID-19 Testing Locations

These sites are open Monday-Friday at the times listed and are open to anyone requesting to be tested. These assessments are provided to you at no charge: Overton County Health Department from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m.

The Stephens Center Parent-Child

Connection

Fall 2020, Series I: Wednesdays 1 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. Sessions are held at the Stephens Center, located at 616 North Church St., Livingston. Certificates will be awarded to parents attending eight sessions within the series. There is no charge for PCC sessions. Aug. 19: “Empathy.” For more information, call 832-6432.

Free food, inflatables, car show and more at Life Church Livingston Campus on Aug. 5 beginning at 4 p.m.

Overton County Commissioners will meet in a Highway and Property Committee meeting at the Courthouse Annex on Thursday, Aug. 6 at 5 p.m.

Overton County Commissioners will meet in a Public Safety Committee meeting at the Courthouse Annex on Thursday, Aug. 6 at 5:20 p.m.

School Board Meeting

The Overton County Board of Education will hold their monthly meeting on Tuesday, Aug. 11 at 6:30 p.m. at the Central Office. The meeting will also be livestreamed via Facebook.

Blood Donation

Opportunity

Donors are asked to schedule an appointment prior to arriving at the drive and are required to wear a face covering or mask while at the drive in alignment with CDC public guidance. A drive will be held at the Joe L. Evins Community Center on Aug. 10 from 10:45 a.m. until 3:45 p.m.

Board of Directors Meeting

The L.B.J. & C. Development Corporation Board of Director’s will hold their bi-monthly meeting Tuesday, Aug. 11 at the L.B.J.& C. Development Corporation, 1150 Chocolate Drive, Cookeville. The meeting will begin at 6 p.m.

Stadium Forum

The School Board Building Committee will be seeking public input concerning football stadium options. The first forum will be held Thursday, Aug. 13 at 6:30 p.m. at Rickman Elementary.
