Ralph Douglas Boles, 70, of Mulberry, Fla. and formerly Overton County passed away July 19. Funeral services were held July 23 at the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Interment followed in the Overton County Memorial Gardens. Rev. James Shenko officiated.
He was born on Oct. 26, 1949. He loved cars, music and spending time with his family. He often spent time outdoors and enjoyed a good drink.
He was preceded in death by parents, Gerstal and Zella Kate Stafford Boles; brothers, Willie Winton Boles, Roger Dale Boles and Gary Boles; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is survived by sons, Michael Douglas Boles, Timothy Ray Boles, Zachary Boles and Steven Boles all of Florida; daughter, April Kate Whitsell of Kentucky; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; sisters Hellon Moss and Donna Speck and husband Thurman both of Rickman; sisters-in-law, Carol Boles Coleman and husband, Rodney of Florida and Jackie Boles of Byrdstown; aunts, Addie Matthews of Livingston and Etta Morgan of the New Hope Community; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Pallbearers who served were Steve Boles, Zack Boles, Tim Boles, Mike Boles, Dylan Boles, Aidan Boles and Chris Speck.
Sue T. Malone
Sue T. Malone, 87, of Livingston passed away July 16 from the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Graveside services were held July 24 at Cookeville City Cemetery. Dr. Don Ragland officiated.
She was born in Gainesboro on May 3, 1933. She worked as a bookkeeper. She was loved by her family and friends and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by son, Jerry Malone of Cambridge, Mass.; a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
Hall Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Frances Marie Raines
Frances Marie Raines, 80, of Allons passed away July 25 from her residence. Funeral services were held July 26 at the chapel of Hall Funeral Home. Interment followed in the Hunter Cove Cemetery. Bro. Darren Ford officiated.
She was born in Livingston on Dec. 17, 1939. She was a member of the Martins Chapel Church.
She was preceded in death by parents, Mott and Eula Mai (Wallace) Daniels; husband, Billy Richard Raines and son, William David Raines.
She is survived by son, Glen Raines and wife, Amy; granddaughter, Katie Beth Raines; adopted granddaughter, Cheyenne Geist; sister, Martha Gail Booher; brothers, Donnie Ray Daniels, John Daniels and wife, Dee; sister in-law, Shirley Daniels and a host of family and friends.
Jackie Lee Brown, 61, of Livingston passed away July 21 from his residence. Funeral services were held July 24 at the chapel of Hall Funeral Home. Interment followed in the Overton County Memorial Gardens. Bro. Nolan Cantrell officiated.
He was born Jan. 5, 1959. He was a store clerk at Walmart. He will be greatly missed by his friends and family.
He was preceded in death by parents, Luther and Delma (Ledbetter) Brown and wife, Teresa Brown.
He is survived by significant other, Mitzi Pennticuff; stepsons, Logan and Thomas Pennticuff; stepdaughter, Hailee Pennticuff; sister, Wilma Wheeler; brother, Robert Brown; niece, Jane Wheeler; nephews, Bobby Brown, Donnell Brown and David Wheeler and family members and friends.
