Drive Thru COVID-19 Testing Locations
These sites are open Monday-Friday at the times listed and are open to anyone requesting to be tested. These assessments are provided to you at no charge: Overton County Health Department from 9 a.m. until 12 p.m.
The Stephens Center Parent-Child
Fall 2020, Series I: Wednesdays 1 p.m. until 2:30 p.m. Sessions are held at the Stephens Center, located at 616 North Church St., Livingston. Certificates will be awarded to parents attending eight sessions within the series. There is no charge for PCC sessions. The Overton County School Board Building Committee is set to host three public forums to seek the public opinion concerning new football field options. There will be three opportunities for the public to make their voices heard concerning the matters on the football field. The locations and times are as follows: Rickman Elementary – Aug. 13 at 6:30 p.m.; Allons Elementary – Aug. 18 at 6:30 p.m. and Livingston Academy – Aug. 20 at 6:30 p.m. The meetings at Rickman and Allons will convene in the cafeterias unless the crowd becomes too large and it will be moved to the gymnasiums. The Holly Springs Cemetery will be mowing Friday, July 24. If you would like to remove flowers, please do before Friday.
Overton County Rescue Squad Fundraiser

Smith/Sells Family Reunion
The Smith/Sells Family Reunion, always held on the first Sunday in August, will not take place this year due to COVID-19.
McBride/Gilpatrick Family Reunion
The McBride/Gilpatrick Family Reunion, which was to be held Aug. 1 has been canceled due to circumstances surrounding COVID-19. If there are any questions, call Louise at 270-487-1020.
The Overton County Commission will meet in regular session on Monday, Aug. 3 at 5 p.m. at the Overton County Courthouse. There will be a public hearing concerning the 2020-2021 budget prior to the regular meeting at 4:30 p.m.
