Dillous Keith Bowman, age 69 of Cookeville, passed away Wednesday morning June 17 at Standing Stone Care and Rehabilitation Center in Monterey.
He was born October 7, 1950 in Overton County to the late Ralph and Dorothy Howard Bowman.
Dillous graduated from Livingston Academy in 1968.
He was an ordained minister and served as a pastor and elder. He cared deeply for those in nursing facilities and served as a leader of ministry to those in the Cookeville area. He was a member of Life Church. He was always ready to serve his church family in any way he could. He had a heart for the mission field and supported missionaries and was involved in countless mission trips all over the world.
He was the owner and operator of Bowman Roofing and Gutters.
He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Bonnie Whittenburg Bowman, whom he married July 4, 1970 at Bethlehem Methodist Church in Overton Co., TN; daughter, Heather (Hans) Bean of Cookeville; son, Jacob (Megan) Bowman of Tullahoma, TN; sisters, Sue (Bill) Neal, Jeanette (Buddy) Crawford all of Cookeville; brother, Paul (Patsy) Bowman of Nashville; grandchildren, McGregor Bean, Carter Bean, DJ Bean, Ralph Chandler Bowman, and Nealy Grace Bowman.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Murphy and Judy Bowman.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. Friday, June 19 at The Edge facility at Life Church. Bobby Davis and Danny Johnson officiated. Friends were invited to come by the church to sign the guest book and pay their respects on Friday at 10 a.m. until service time. Due to Covid-19 precautions, social distance measures were observed.
Interment was held at Bethlehem Methodist Church Cemetery in Overton County.
Friends and family served as pallbearers.

Joan Exum Pendergrass, 79, of Hendersonville passed away June 16 from her residence. Funeral services were held June 20 at Hamilton Funeral Home in Chattanooga. Interment followed in the Hamilton Memorial Gardens. Bro. Mike McPhearson officiated.
She was born in Hamilton County on Sept. 12, 1940. She loved her family, spending time with her church family, and adored her children. She was a people person, and she loved working and talking with others.
She was preceded in death by parents, Fred Earl and Mildred Henson Exum; brothers, James Fred Exum and Leonard Exum.
She is survived by husband, Arley Randall Pendergrass I of Hendersonville; sons, Arley Randall Pendergrass II of Clarksville, and Michael Pendergrass of Richmond, Va.; goddaughter, Wendy Speck and husband, Chris of Livingston; grandchildren, Arley Randall Pendergrass III, Micayla Pendergrass, Maddie Speck, Emma Grace Speck, Morgan Speck, Katie Alice Speck and Joshua Pendergrass; sisters, Jane Coffett of Chattanooga and Linda Seay of Rossville, Ga.

David Eugene Staggs
Mr. David Eugene Staggs, 56 of Hardys Chapel, passed from this life on Tuesday, May 12, 2020 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. He had chosen cremation and a Celebration of Life was held on June 6.
He was born on June 12, 1963 in Allons to the late Pascal and Rose Staggs. He worked as a roofer for many years.
He is survived by son, Travis Staggs of Rickman; brothers, Rick Staggs of Rickman and Donnie Williams of Baxter; sisters, Brenda Stewart of Hardys Chapel, Patsy Dailey of Hilham and Diane Randolph of Hardys Chapel and many nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, infant brother Terry Staggs, Paul Staggs and Mike Staggs; sister, Cindy Hogue.
April Cope, 42, of Hilham passed away June 16 from her residence. Funeral services were held June 21 at the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home. Interment followed in the Aaron’s Chapel Cemetery. Bro. John Preece officiated.
She was born in Houston, Texas on April 11, 1978. She worked as a CNA for Standing Stone Care & Rehabilitation Services. She enjoyed social media, camping, fishing and the Dallas Cowboys.
She was preceded in death by mother, Kathryn Ann Hogue and grandparents.
She is survived by husband, Jason Bryan Cope of Hilham; daughter, Jasmine Cope of Hilham; sons, Tyler Cates and wife, Kayla of Calif., Isacc Steward of Minn. and Jacob Cope of Hilham; grandson, Grayson Cates; brother, Alvin Cates of Fla.; sister, Honey Moon and husband, James of Byrdstown and aunt, Sheila Walker of Jamestown.

Cassie Estellean Webb
Cassie Estellean Webb, 87, of the Swallows Chapel Community passed away June 16 from the Overton County Health and Rehab Center. Funeral services were held June 19 at the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home. Interment followed in the Eckels Cemetery. Bro. Derek Copeland officiated.
She was born on May 10, 1933. She loved to fish and enjoyed quilting, gardening and canning produce.
She was preceded in death by parents, Henry and Magalene Dishman Steward; brother, Vestel “Cub” Steward and grandson, Johnny Webb.
She is survived by husband, Clio Webb of the Swallows Chapel Community; sons, Gary Webb and wife, Sherry of the Hardys Chapel Community and Roger Webb of the New Hope Community; granddaughter, Kimberly Michele Pritchard of Knoxville; great-grandchildren, Josh and Olivia Long and great-great-grandchildren Brentley and Lucy Long.
James Michael “Mike” Brown, 60, of Ocala, Fla. and formally of Livingston passed away in Ocala on June 13. Services were held June 19 at the chapel of Hall Funeral Home of Livingston. Interment followed in the Okolona Cemetery. Bro. Kevin Clark officiated.
He was born in Livingston on Dec. 6, 1959. He worked as a painter by trade and he was of the Baptist Faith.
He was preceded in death by mother, Mildred Brown Livingston; sisters, Judy Burchett, Zelene Edmonds, Melba Hughes and brother, Kenneth Howard.
He is survived by son, Josh Brown and wife, Jessica; daughters, Chaska Davidson and husband, Michael (Cowboy), Jamie White and husband, Toby; grandchildren, Tyler Brown, Ellie, Addie, Sylvie White, Halley, Maddie and Taylor Brown; sisters, Linda Brown and Anita Clark.

Celebration of Life for Greg Auberson, age 50 of Rickman, who left this life on March 8 will be held on June 27 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the First United Methodist Church in Cookeville.
He is survived by his loving mother, Brenda Stewart of Rickman; father, Roy Auberson and wife, Carol of Allons; son, Tyler Auberson and wife, Shannon of Cookeville; brother, Jeff Auberson and wife, Shannon of Cookeville; granddaughters, Oaklyn and Trinity of Cookeville; nephew, Wilson Auberson; niece, Bonza Auberson of Cookeville and a very special girlfriend, Carmon (Sissy) Ledbetter and several aunts and uncles.
