After nearly a month from the original graduation date, Livingston Academy’s Class of 2020 walked across their stage at Tucker Stadium and received their long-awaited diplomas.
The 211 graduates had one of the most unusual senior years on record when the second semester was interrupted by the new coronavirus and the disease it causes, COVID-19. The threat from the global pandemic led state and local leaders to enact strict guidelines to try and slow the spread of the disease. That included canceling in-person classes in mid-March and conducting the rest of the academic year via online classes.
