The Livingston Police Department (LPD) released a statement last Friday concerning an increase in traffic enforcement.
The press release stated:
“The [LPD] would like to remind our citizens as our community begins to open up from the COVID-19 restrictions that more people are traveling on the roadways than they have during the past several months. In addition, many of our residents have not driven as much during this same time.”
The statement went on to say that the city has been fortunate within this period and traffic accidents have been down—a result of less traffic on the roadways.
