Charlie William

Dailey

Charlie William Dailey, 91, passed away May 2 at Celina Rehabilitation Center. Graveside services were held May 5 at the Hamilton Addition Fitzgerald Cemetery with Bro. Eric Copas officiating.

He shared his life with so many. He was “Shanghai” to old friends, “Pa” to his grandsons and “Popi” to his great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by: parents, Thomas and Iva (Dulworth) Dailey.

Surviving relatives include: wife, Nell Dean (Ledbetter) Dailey; children, Charles Dailey of Hendersonville and Shirley Breedlove of Livingston along with their spouses; grandsons, Eugene Johnson of Livingston, Christopher Dailey of Springfield and Shaun Dailey of White House; eight great grandchildren; one great, great grandchild; friends, Bobby and Tina Kerr; and caregiver, Emma Brown.

Hall Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Norma June

Robbins

Norma June Poston Robbins, 83, of Livingston passed away May 8 from Livingston Regional Hospital. Graveside services were held May 11 at the Good Hope Cemetery.

She was born in Overton County on June 9, 1936. She was a 1954 graduate of Livingston Academy where she played varsity basketball. She loved to spend time with her family, loved going to church, taught a children’s Sunday School class for 51 years and enjoyed eating out at restaurants.

She was preceded in death by parents, Wilbur and Cleo Winningham Poston; husband, Billy Robbins and brother, Joe Poston.

She is survived by daughter Beth Stephens of Livingston; grandchildren TaShana Hooks and husband, Chris of Livingston and Kyle Stephens and wife, Jasmine of Livingston; great-grandson Ethan Hooks and sister Brenda Williams and husband, Wayne of Pall Mall.

Speck Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Jeffrey Maran

Graveside Services for Jeffrey L. Maran, age 68, of Cleveland, Ohio were conducted May 6 from the Dugan Smith Cemetery.

He was the retired owner of Auto Tow, Inc. in Cleveland, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by father, Jack Fry.

He is survived by wife, Yvette Lee Florek Maran; children, Stacy Maran, Gabriel Smolik, Clinton Smolik, Chrystal Lee and Jessie Maran; grandchildren, Hannah, Riley and Layne; mother, Mattie Lee Little; siblings, Margarete Maran Zitello and Rose Oliver and a host of family and friends.

Thelma Lee Arney

Thelma Lee Shelton Arney, 72, of Livingston passed away May 9 from her residence. Funeral services were conducted May 11 at the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Interment followed in the Overton County Memorial Gardens. Pastor Buddy Reed officiated.

She was born in the Crawford Community on Feb. 4 1948. She was a member of the Keeping the Faith Church in Rickman. She worked for many years at the Overton County Health & Rehab Center. She also enjoyed being with her friends, camping, going on trips, yard sales and working so she could spend her money to do things with her family.

She was preceded in death by parents, Hollis and Jewel Conatser Shelton; husband, Johnny Ray Arney and brother, Jerry Shelton.

She is survived by sons, Johnny Dewayne Arney of Livingston and Jeffery Dale Arney and wife, LeeAnn of Hilham; 14 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brothers, Billy Shelton and wife, Brenda of Rickman and Roger Shelton of Livingston; sisters, Wilma Staggs and husband, Danny of Livingston and Ruth Watkins of Allons; special friends, Carol Collins and Jane Abbott.

Pallbearers who served were Johnny Dewayne Arney, Jr., Jeffrey Dale Arney, Jr., Kevin Watkins, Jackie Watkins, Danny Wayne Staggs, Joseph Shelton and Donald Shelton.

James D. Lewis

James D. Lewis, 83, of Livingston passed away May 6 from the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Private graveside services were held.. Interment was held in the Overton County Memorial Gardens. Bro. Timmy Ray officiated.

He was born in Ovetron County on June 15, 1936. He was a graduate of Rickman High School, and a member of Allons Baptist Church. He enjoyed being a volunteer at Livingston Regional Hospital.

He was preceded in death by parents, Charlie and Dorothy Cargile Lewis; brothers, Bill Lewis, Kenneth Lewis and Alvin Lewis; sisters, Kathleen Reels, Mary Bilbrey and Jean Langert.

He is survived by wife, Barbara June Langford Lewis of Livingston; step-daughter, Deborah Key and husband, Terry of Livingston; one granddaughter; one great-granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.

Raelynn Faith Hill

Miss Raelynn Faith Hill, infant daughter of Ricky Hill and Brandy Ann Lowe passed away on May 1 from the Livingston Regional Medical Center.

Raelynn Faith leaves behind her parents; brother, Max Troxel; grandmothers, Kimberly Millsaps of Sparta and Sheila Hill of Ohio, Ill.; grandfather, Brian Lowe, of McMinnville; great-grandfather, Daniel Ed Lowe of McMinnville; several aunts, uncles and cousins.
