Eric Edwin Carwile
Eric Edwin Carwile, 76, of Rickman passed away April 20 from the Skyline Medical Center.
Celebration of Life Services were held April 26 at the Overton County Memorial Gardens. Bro. Aron Dillon officiated.
He was born in Overton County on June 27, 1943. He was a 1962 graduate of Livingston Academy and a Finance Director for Carlen Chevrolet. He enjoyed playing golf, guitar, being at the lake and eating seafood.
He was preceded in death by parents, Oscar and Magnolia Farmer Carwile; brother, Ethan Carwile; sisters, Ethna Brown, Edwina Branham, Eldrith Parsons, Evelyn Carwile and Estelene Morgan.
He is survived by wife Linda Neely Carwile of Rickman; son, Mark Carwile and wife, Robyn of Livingston; daughter, Teresa Peterson and husband, Steve of Cookeville; grandchildren, Lindsey and Bryson Carwile; brothers, Eldon Carwile and wife, Faye of Franklin and Earl Carwile and wife, Barbara of Livingston; sister, Elna Wilson and husband, Jack of Granger, Ind.; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Speck Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Nola Lorraine Franklin, 81, of Hilham passed away April 25 from her residence. Celebration of Life services will be held at a later date.
She was born in Alpine on July 31, 1938. She was a 1957 graduate of Livingston Academy, then attended Wilson College and MTSU.
She enjoyed family, friends, travel and sports—especially football.
She was preceded in death by parents, Andy and Hattie Sells Franklin; brothers, Price Franklin, Joe Franklin, Ray Franklin, Bud Franklin, Leroy Franklin and Hue Franklin; sisters, Ola Coffman, Edith Franklin and Zola Franklin.
She is survived by brother L.D. Franklin and wife, Judy of Livingston; sister-in-law, Frances Lee Franklin of Rossville, Ga.; a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Diana Lynn Beechboard, 69, of Hilham passed away April 23 from the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Private graveside services were held for the family at the Aaron’s Chapel Cemetery in Hilham. Bro. Ronnie McCowan officiated the services.
She was born in Anderson, Ind. on March 12, 1951. She was a member of the Aaron’s Chapel Church. She loved her family and friends very much.
She was preceded in death by father, Walt King.
She is survived by husband, William C. Beechboard; sons, Scott Keesling and Brian Keesling; step-son, Jessie Beechboard; step-daughters, Lisa Kegley and Melana Perdue; mother, Betty King; brother, Bill King; a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren, family and friends.
Pallbearers who served were Wayne Beechboard, Jessie Beechboard, Kenny Allen, Johnny Crossman and Scott Sullivan.
Hall Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
