Woman Enters Into Guilty Plea In Elder Abuse Case

A Livingston woman pled guilty in the last session of Overton County Criminal Court to financial exploitation against a vulnerable adult.

Desirea Laynae Harris, 33 of Livingston, was indicted in April 2019 on two counts of financial exploitation of a vulnerable adult. The charge carries a possible punishment of one to six years in a correctional facility and a fine of up to $3,000.
