Edward Dailey, 81, of the Twin Oaks Community passed away Feb. 15 from his residence. Funeral services were held Feb. 17 at the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home. Interment followed in the Conner Cemetery. Bro. Alex Jackson officiated.
He was born in the Baptist Ridge Community of Clay County on March 29, 1938. He was a member of the Free Communion Church of Christ. He enjoyed working, gardening, farming, fishing, walking and reading the paper.
He was preceded in death by parents, Andy and Ester Brown Dailey; brother, Homer Dailey and sister, Christene Rich.
He is survived by wife, Winnie Ann Conner Dailey of Livingston; daughters, Pam Nolen of Livingston and Debbie Smith of Livingston; grandchildren, Jonathan Smith and wife, Wendy, Brittany Qualls and husband, Scotty, April Nolen, Josh Nolen and wife, Tamara and Heather Nolen; great-grandchildren, Quinton, Bailey, Seth, SaraAnn, Shayleigh, Sophia, Sawyer, Taylor and Weston; brother, Shirley Ray Dailey, sister, Thelma Jean Dailey and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers who served were Scotty Qualls, Quinton Qualls, Jonathan Smith, Seth Smith, Josh Nolen, Joseph Nolen and James Homer Dailey.
Honorary pallbearers were Sawyer Smith and Weston Nolen.
Elizabeth Kahawala Arms
Elizabeth Kahawala Arms, 59, of Livingston passed away Feb. 7 from the Cookeville Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Hilo, Hawaii on June 7, 1960. She worked for Russell Stover Candies for many years. She enjoyed music, pencil drawing, coloring and all types of art. Traveling across the country by air, she visited many places.
She was preceded in death by parents, Manuel DeVillanueva and Elizabeth Marsh and brother, Joseph C. DeVillanueva.
She is survived by husband, Larry Arms of Livingston; daughter, Aloha Courtney of Baxter; sons, Richard Courtney of Madisonville, Ky., Ramon Becerra of Rickman, David Becerra of Cookeville, Roger Ellison of Baxter, Gary Arms of Livingston and Larry S. Arms of Hilham; grandchildren, Krystal, Savannah, Gage, David R., Tianna, Michael, Kaiden, Lea, Alana, Quinten, Audrey, Isabella, Benjamin, Logan, Ryan, Cody and Gabriel; great-grandchildren, Bently, Karter, Emmy and Killian; brothers, David DeVillanueva, William “Bully” DeVillanueva, Manuel J. DeVillanueva and Michael DeVillanueva; sisters, Mary A. Fields, Myra J. Waal, Aloha Briggs and Amanda Harris.

Junior Dishman, 64, of Livingston passed away Feb. 13 from the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Celebration of Life services were held Feb. 15 from the chapel of Hall Funeral Home of Livingston. Bro. Ricky Dixon officiated.
He was born in Gainesboro on Aug. 12, 1955. He worked for the Town of Livingston on the street department.
He was preceded in death by parents, Clyde E. and Iva Jean (Phillips) Dishman; son, Rocky Dishman; grandsons, Tyson Carter and Waylon Dishman; sister, Gail Dixon; brothers, Kenny Dishman and James “Jimmy” Dishman.
He is survived by sons, Deric Dishman and wife, Evelyn and Jacob Dishman and Kaitlyn; grandchildren, Bentley Post Dishman, Aubree Dishman, Karlie Dishman and Kayson Dishman and sister, Carolyn Sue Dixon.
Sarah Sally Murphy
Sarah Sally Murphy, 81, of Cookeville passed away Feb. 16 from the Standing Stone Health and Rehabilitation in Monterey. Funeral services were held Feb. 18 at the chapel of Hall Funeral Home of Livingston. Interment followed in the West Cemetery located in the Bangham Community. Bro. John Murphy officiated.
She was born in Livingston on April 21, 1938. She was a housewife and was of the Freewill Baptist Faith.
She was preceded in death by parents, Ernest and Agnes (Mullins) Smith; husband, John D. Murphy of the Hardy’s Chapel Community; brothers, Charlie (C.L.) Smith of Livingston, Clifford (Click) Smith of Allons, James E. Smith of Monroe and Turley P. Smith of Monroe and sister, Magalene Smith Choate of Monroe.
She is survived by son, Johnny “John” Michael Murphy and wife, Vonette; daughters, Jenny Murphy and Leesa Hays Rockwell and husband, Jack; sister, Helen Norrod; grandchildren, Brice Murphy and wife, Mary, Lucas Murphy and wife, Jennifer, Jamie Phipps, Jesse Phipps and Charity Stuart and husband, Jeb; great-grandchildren, Haley Murphy, Jonah Murphy and Josiah Murphy and a host of family and friends.

Jeffery Lee Smith, 55, of Livingston passed away Feb. 14 from the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Celebration of Life service was held Feb. 18 at the chapel of Hall Funeral Home of Livingston. Bro. Terry McCloud officiated. The family chose cremation after the service.
He was born in Livingston on Oct. 8, 1964. He worked in welding.

She was born in Overton County on March 4, 1930.
