The Overton County Anti-Drug Coalition (OCADC) held a meeting last Thursday afternoon to discuss community activities for the month of October.
During the meeting, Jessica Stephens announced that the coalition has decided to cancel the Glow Run 5K event this year due to low volunteer enrollment. Because the last cheeseburger lunch was successful, the coalition will do another cheeseburger plate lunch fundraiser instead to better raise funds to help the local youth. This fundraiser will take place next spring.
