Jimmy M. Crawford

Jimmy M. Crawford, 61, of Rickman passed away on Oct. 15 from the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Funeral Services were held Oct. 18 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Interment followed in the Overton County Memorial Gardens, with Military Honors provided by the Overton County Veteran Honor Guard.

Bro. Craig Green officiated.

He was born in Overton County on May 8, 1958. He was a 1976 graduate of Livingston Academy. He was a carpenter by trade. He enjoyed fishing and watching football.

He was preceded in death by parents, Ray and Collene McDonald Crawford.

He is survived by wife, Molessia Melton of Rickman; step-daughter, Moriah Melton of Rickman; step-son, Patrick Melton of Livingston; granddaughter, Bella Melton of Livingston; brother, Jeff Crawford of Livingston; nephews, Matt Crawford and wife Tanya of Hilham and Josh Crawford and wife, Emily of Livingston.

Pallbearers who served were Bill Fletcher, Mike Copeland, Henry Plumlee, Steve Moody, Matt Crawford and Josh Crawford.

Honorary pallbearers were Patrick Melton, Rodney Phillips and Carl Riley.

Virginia R. Wilborn

Virginia R. Wilborn, 82, of Cookeville passed away on Oct. 11 from Cookeville Regional Medical Center.

Funeral Services were held on Oct. 14 at the chapel of Hall Funeral Home. Interment followed in the Martin Chapel Cemetery in Allons.

Bro. Freddie Nelson officiated.

She was born in Cookeville on July 3, 1937. She worked as a bookkeeper.

She was preceded in death by parents, Hillard and Mayme (Talley) Fleming and husband, Kenneth Wilborn.

She is survived by son, Michael Wilborn and fiancé, Loretta Crouch; daughters, Michele Wilborn and Pam Ramsey; brother, Danny Fleming and wife, Priscilla; sister-in-law, Judy Crutcher and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers who served were Dusty Fleming, Keegan Fleming, Brian Lee, John Anderson, Charles Wilson, Tim Hargis, Ronald Wilborn and Jason Wilborn.

Beverly L. Denny

Beverly L. Denny, 70, of Lebanon passed away on Oct. 15 in Lebanon. Funeral services were held Oct. 19 at the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Interment followed in the Nelson Cemetery.

She was born in Lake County, Tenn. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She enjoyed the outdoors, gardening and the Smokey Mountains.

She was preceded in death by parents, Orville N. and Hazel S. Swindle Alexander; daughter, Keliea Dews Denny and infant sister.

She is survived by husband, Larry Denny of Lebanon; son, William Keith of Watertown; grandchildren, Sherry Limeburner, Kevin Clark and Jeremy Keith; four great-grandchildren; brother, William Vance of Centerville and sister, Katherine Miller of Willow Springs, Mo.

Jackey Clyde

Watkins

Jackey Clyde Watkins, 68, of Livingston passed away on Sept. 26 at Livingston Regional Hospital. Funeral services were held on Sept. 30 at the chapel of Hall Funeral Home. Interment followed in the Overton County Memorial Gardens. Bro. Buddy Reed and Bro. John Keith officiated.

He was born in Allons on May, 17, 1951.

He was preceded in death by parents, Albert Clyde and Ruby Cantrell Watkins; sisters, Mary Jo Dailey and Brenda Dailey both of Indianapolis, Ind. and brothers, Billy Ray and Rick Watkins both of Livingston.

He is survived by wife, Ruth Annn Watkins of Livingston; son, Jackie Dink Watkins and wife, Amanda; grandchildren, Lindsey Watkins and Tyler, Kevin Watkins and Gracie Grissom; great-grandchild, Kylan Shirley; sisters, Johnnie and Kenny Holeman of Nashville, Betty and Ray Sells of Lebanon, Janie and Harold Smith of Rickman and Patricia Gore of Livingston; brothers, Earl Watkins of Livingston, Paul Watkins and wife, Linda of Smyrna and Fred Watkins and wife, Diane of Livingston and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers who served were Randy Watkins, Scott Watkins, Jeff Arney, Johnny Arney, Donald Shelton, Jody Shelton, Terry R. Melton and Joey Staggs.

Honorary pallbearers were Teddy Ray Watkins, Robert Conaster and Danny Wayne Staggs.

Janice Carol Walker

Janice Carol Walker, 73, of Livingston passed away on Sept. 30 from her residence. A celebration of her life was held on Oct. 3. Interment followed in the Overton County Memorial Gardens. Bro. Mike White and Bro. Derek Parsons officiated.

She was born in Monterey on Aug. 5, 1946. She loved her family and friends very much.

She was preceded in death by parents, Elmer and Geneva (Honeycutt) Lambert and husband, Clyde Walker.

She is survived by daughter, Lisa Lisi and husband, Rick; sister, Delean Lafever; brother, Clifton Lambert and wife, Janie; grandchildren, Zack Barnes, Tyler Barnes, Marco Lisi and wife, Whitney, Ricky Lisi and John Lisi; granddaughter, Gina Leonard; great-grandchildren, Angelia Leonard and Gabriella Lisi; great-grandchild, Lucca Lisi and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Pallbearers who served were Jonathan Walker, Adam Walker, Cody Carlile, James Lafever, Greg Lambert, Damian Western and Jeremy Lafever.

Hall Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Janice Kay Moe Allred

Janice Kay (Harmon) Moe Allred, 80, of Livingston passed away Sept. 22 from the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. The family honored her wish of cremation.

She was born on March 7, 1939 in Charlotte, Mich. She enjoyed music and crafts.

She was preceded in death by parents, E.B. and Gladys Irene (Schooley) Harmon; husband, Jacob Moe; sisters, Florence, Frances, Margie, ImoJean and Gloria.

She is survived by sons, Jack Brian Moe and companion, Gail Moore of Cookeville and Dennis Allen Moe and wife, Julie of Rickman; daughter, Kimberly Smith of Livingston; grandchildren, Sondra Moe, Megan Moe, Jessica Stansberry and husband, Joe, Brandi Smith and companion, Josh Sloop, Ashley Smith and companion, Philip Parker, Josh Smith, Brian Zank and Mikel Zank; 16 great-grandchildren; half-sister, Vesta; special niece, Sandi Eishen of Michigan and dog, Maggie.
