Bobbie Sue Waller

Bobbie Sue Waller, 72, of Rickman, passed away on May 30 at Livingston Regional Hospital. Funeral services were held on June 1 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Interment followed in the Poplar Springs Cemetery.

She was born in Overton County on March 23, 1947. She loved her family, enjoyed tending to her flowers, watched westerns on TV and loved to go to church.

She was preceded in death by parents, Burt and Gladys Edmonds Barnes; sons, Steven Ray and Ricky Ray; daughter, Debra Ray; brother, R. J. Barnes; and sisters, Opal Ray and Christine Stewart.

She is survived by husband, Zeb H. Waller of Rickman; daughters, Leisa Franklin and husband, Scott of Livingston and Tresia Boykin and Rodney Huff; step-sons, Zeb Horace Waller and Thomas Ray Waller and wife, Anette all of Cookeville; 12 grandchildren; six great grandchildren; brothers, Grover Barnes and wife, Rozelle of Livingston and Thurman Barnes and wife, Helen of Albany, Ky.; and sisters, Jean Sells and husband, George, Catherine Ray and Justine Phillips and husband, Ronnie all of Livingston, Mae Parsons of Byrdstown, Geraldine Ledbetter of Tomkinsville, Ky. and Janet Maynard and husband, Ed of Cookeville.

Helen Delores Smith

Helen Delores Chilton Taylor Smith, 77, of Jackson, Tenn., and formerly of Overton County, passed away on June 4 at Forest Cove Nursing and Rehab Center. Funeral services were held on June 8 at the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Bro. Randy Pickens officiated. Interment followed in the Fellowship Cemetery.

She was born on Sept. 5, 1941.

She was preceded in death by parents, Marshall and Berta Wright Chilton; first husband, Marion B. Taylor; second husband, Varney Smith; brother, Ricky Chilton; and special friend, Jerrell Qualls.

She is survived by son, Marlon Taylor of Jackson, Tenn.; brothers, Billy Chilton and wife, Danya, Bobby Chilton and wife, Ann and Denny Chilton and wife, Elizabeth all of Allons; sister, Diane Ferrell and husband, Bruce of Plano, Texas; granddaughter, Olivia Chappell and husband, Jerel; great grandson, Pierce Chappell; and aunt, Willa Wright.

Pallbearers that served were Bobby Chilton, Denny Chilton, Casey Chilton, Dustin Chilton and Billy Chilton.

Keith Wayne Lang

Keith Wayne Lang, 60, of Rickman, passed away on June 3 at his residence.

He was born in Memphis, Texas on Oct. 30, 1958. He loved all kinds of outdoors activities, from hiking to fishing and camping. He loved to make people laugh and enjoyed spending time with his family.

He was preceded in death by father, Hugh Lane; and grandparents, Abeline and Lena Freeze.

He is survived by wife, Tara Lang of Rickman; mother, Imojean Farmer of Childress, Texas; sons, Preston Lang and Ross Lang of Rickman; sisters, Christie Hayes and husband, David and Pamela Richey and husband, Jimmy all of Sanger, Texas; a host of nieces and nephews; and special friend Dan Nelson of Rickman.

Martha A. Bruton

Martha A. Bruton, 74, of Livingston, passed away on May 29 at her residence. A Celebration of Life service was held on June 1 from the chapel of Livingston Funeral Home.

She was born in Overton County on March 24, 1945. She loved her family, spending time with her cats and was a big supporter of the 12 Step Programs.

She was preceded in death by father, Louis Brown; brother, Daryl Brown; and sister, Margaret Jane “Janie” Brown.

She is survived by husband, Frank Bruton of Livingston; son Sheldon Jerome Tinsley of Livingston; daughter, Lisa McKinney of Livingston; mother, Ima Dean Sullivan of Cookeville; grandchildren, Casey Tinsley and wife, Lisa and Alec McKinney; step-granddaughter, Abigail Myers; great grandchild, Menoah Tinsley; and sister, Mary Rose Norris.

Robert “Bob” James Wilson

Robert “Bob” James Wilson, 70, of Livingston, passed away on June 4 at his residence. Bob chose cremation and a memorial service will be held at a later date at Salem Church in Cookeville. Arrangements were provided by Crest Lawn Funeral Home – Cremation Center.

He was born in Sydney, N.Y. on April 16, 1949. He was a loving son, brother, husband, father and grandfather. He loved the Lord and his church family at Salem Church. He loved life and will be missed by all that knew him.

He was preceded in death by parents, Russell Wilson and Louise (Hovey) Northrop; and sister Dolly Goodrich.

He is survived by wife, Sue Wilson; son, Tim and Laura Beth Wilson; grandchildren, Jacob and Madeline Wilson; sisters, Pat Russell and Marge Platt; brothers, Bill and Sam Northrop.
