Betty Ruth Qualls

Betty Ruth Qualls, 71, of Livingston, passed away on May 28 at her residence. Funeral services were held on May 30 at the chapel of Hall Funeral Home of Livingston. Bro. Roger Bybee. Interment followed in the Walnut Grove Cemetery in Overton County.

She was born in Jamestown on Jan. 30, 1948. She was a member of the Church of Christ. She loved her family and friends very much and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by parents, Will and Mary Kathern (Warden) King.

She is survived by husband, Clyde Qualls; daughters, Cynthia Qualls and Beverly Phillips; granddaughter, Carly Phillips; brothers, Kelly King and wife, Marlene, Danny King, Lanny King and wife, Tonya, Kevin King and wife, Angela; sisters, Kay Cook and husband, Bernard and Kim Swoveland.

Pallbearers that served were Alex Applegate, Andrew Applegate, Joe Hernendez, Zach Walch, Mark Phillips and Sheldon King. Honorary pallbearers that served were Austin Applegate and Leo Willis.

Cecil Glenn Bilbrey

Cecil Glenn Bilbrey, 76, of Cookville, passed away on May 19 at Saint Thomas Hospital in Sparta. Funeral services were held May 22, at the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston. Bro. Nolan Cantrell officiated. Interment followed at the Harris Chapel Cemetery.

He was born on Feb. 16, 1943 in Overton County. He was a member of the First Baptist Church. He was an Army Veteran.

He was preceded in death by; parents, Cecil Floyd Bilbrey and Lonie Estell Walker Bilbrey; sister, Janious Bilbrey.

He is survived by; sons, Bobby Bilbrey and David Glen Bilbrey; daughter, Connie Long; brothers, Maxie Bilbrey and Gerald Bilbrey; grandchildren, Brookelyn Bilbrey, Clay King, Bailey Bilbrey, Bradey Bilbrey and a host of family and friends also survived.

Pallbearers that served were Bailey Bilbrey, Dale Bilbrey, Jimmy Coffey, Samuel Coffey, Leroy Moore and Randy Coffey.

Florene F. Allen

Florene F. Allen, 76, of Hilham, passed away on May 29 at the Livingston Regional Hospital. Funeral services were held on May 31 at the chapel of Hall Funeral Home of Livingston. Bro. Phillip Morgan officiated. Interment followed in the Allens Chapel Cemetery.

She was born in Hilham on Oct. 24, 1942.

She was preceded in death by parents, Lester Allen and Madie Carr Allen; sons, Terry Allen and Ricky Allen; daughter, Yolanda Allen; and sisters, Willadene Allen and Anna Rose Mullins.

She is survived by daughters, Tammy Lee of Hilham and Kim Thrasher of Livingston; Eight grandchildren and One great-grandchild; and a host of family and friends.

Stephen Joshua Garland

Stephen Joshua Garland, 29, of Celina, passed away May 21. Funeral services were held May 25 at the chapel of Hall Funeral Home of Livingston. Bro. Wayne Malone officiated. Interment followed at the Campground Cemetery.

He was born Dec. 30, 1989 in Davidson County.

He is survived by; daughters, Applebella Garland, Olive Jade Garland; parents, Steven Garland and Jennifer Garland; brothers, Jacob Garland, Jordan Stout; grandmother, Linda Pryor; mother of his children, Marki Bettencourt; aunt, Emily Allen; uncle, Richard Pryor II.

Pallbearers that served were Jacob Garland, Jordan Stout, Cody Randall, Richard Pryor and Henry Whigham.
