Raising Funds

Tasha Mackie, Director of the Overton County Anti Drug Coalition, and General Sessions Judge Daryl A. Colson, President of the Board of Directors for the Overton County Anti-Drug Coalition, are cooking cheeseburgers for their bi-annual cheeseburger fundraiser last week.

The money raised will go towards the Coalition’s youth initiative, which provides funds for materials used in the schools to provide anti drug education, and also for after school programs. General Sessions Judge Colson stated, “Dealing with the drug problem begins with educating our youth.” They raised $500 for the cause on April 26 and will do another cookout in the fall.
