Ag Student Could Receive $$$

A new cash award, courtesy of Sons of Confederate Veterans Myers-Zollicoffer Camp 1990, could be available to an agriculture student at Livingston Academy if the Overton County Board of Education approves the award in their next regular meeting.

Board member Mike Gilpatrick brought the idea before the Overton County Board of Education during Tuesday night’s work session and said the local chapter would like to give recognition to a student who shows leadership, achievement and skill.
