Willodean Vaughn, 79 of Gainesboro and formerly of the Hanging Limb community, passed away on March 19 at the Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Funeral services were held on March 21 at the Hanging Limb Freewill Baptist Church. Rev. Greg Jenkins And Bro. Jimmy Stafford officiated. Interment followed in the George M. Phillips Cemetery. D.M. Goff Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
She was born in Crawford on May 8, 1939. She was a caregiver and nanny all of her life.
She was preceded in death by parents, Walter And Hilda Todd Vaughn; sister, Barbara (Faye) Cobble; and brothers, Robert (Bob) Vaughn, Joe Carl Vaughn, Elmer (Paul) Vaughn and Franklin (D.) Vaughn.
She is survived by sisters and brothers-in-law, Lurline and Robert Judd of Crawford and Cathy And Joe Gebbia of Cookeville; nieces and nephews, Sheila Winningham, Danny Cobble, Junior Cobble, Valerie Raiford, Lisa Bowman, Bobbie Cook, Debbie Thomas, Amanda Cook, Tammy Stafford, Sherry Sircy, Jason Bowman, Jill Stafford, Tara Stephens, Chelsey Gebbia, Summer Gebbia, Selena Gebbia, Savanna Jayde Gebbia, Anthony Mason Gebbia, Angela Hall, Stephanie Jenkins, Teresa Vaughn Oneal, Gloria Holmes, Etheline Rich, Mackie Reed, Tim Reed and the Late Terry Reed and Ricky Newel Bowman; and her babies, Cindy Holmes and son, Braxton Holmes, Sabrina Harris and her children, Tyler, Coleton, Bryson Harris and Lydia Hargis, J.R. Billy Gene Sidwell
Billy Gene Sidwell, 81 of Livingston, passed away on March 20 from the Livingston Regional Hospital. Funeral services were held on March 22 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Bro. Phillip Buck officiated. Interment followed in the Turkey Town Cemetery.
He was born in Overton County on April 13, 1937. He worked at the Handle Mill for many years. He enjoyed chewing tobacco, hunting, listening to country music and loved his children and grandchildren very much.
He was preceded in death by mother, Daisy Sidwell; wife, Evelyn Boles Sidwell; daughter, Beverly Sue Boles; grandson, Russell Sidwell; brother, Elmer Sidwell; and sister, Nanna Lee Cunningham.
He is survived by daughters, Donna Edwards of Livingston, Carolyn Breeding of Livingston, Terri Staggs and husband, Jeff of Rickman and Elena Borfoush of Allons; sons, Gary Sidwell and wife, Patricia of Allons, and Larry Sidwell and wife, Angie of Allons, 21 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and special nephew, Eddie Cunningham.
Pallbearers were Landon Staggs, Josh Breeding, C.J. Thornton, Corey Cunningham, Thomas Edwards and Danny Edwards.
Janet Ledbetter Geesling, 65 of Hilham, passed away on March 21 at her home. Funeral services were held on March 23 from the chapel of the Livingston Funeral Home. Interment followed in the Fisk Cemetery in Hilham.
She was born in Overton County on Jan. 17, 1954. She worked for many years for Hutchinson. She enjoyed cooking and talking on the phone with her friends. She never met a stranger and loved caring for her children and grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by parents, Lester and Iris Imogine Greenwood Ledbetter; sister, Barbara Barlow.
She is survived by husband, Roy Geesling of Hilham; sons, Roy Joe Geesling of Monroe, and Matt Geesling of Livingston; grandchildren, Eden, Kassidy and Jaylyn Geelsing; great-grandson, Kannan Tompkins; sisters, Janie Johnson, of Hilham, Regina Beaty and Jason of Monterey, and Rita Ledbetter and husband, Bruce of Alpine; brothers, Mark Ledbetter and wife, Vicki of Hilham and Leon Ledbetter and wife, Patty of Gainesboro.
Pallbearers were Andrew Conners, Billy Ledbetter, Dalton Smith, Roger Barlow, Thurman Speck and Chris Speck.
Honorary pallbearers were Leon Ledbetter and Mark Ledbetter.
Gearldean Gentry, 80 of Livingston, passed away on March 17 at the Livingston Regional Hospital. Funeral services were held on March 21. Interment followed in the Beaty Cemetery located in Monroe. Bro. John Mabrey officiated. Hall Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
She was born in Monroe on Feb. 1, 1939. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by parents, Willie Winsted and Ina (Fowler) Cooper; son, Claudell Gentry; and sisters, Orene Winningham and Dean McCormick.
She is survived by twin sons, Randy Gentry and wife, Donna and Ricky Gentry and his wife, Cathy; sister, Emmagene Winningham; six grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

He was born in Overton County on Dec. 28, 1969. He was a Christian and loved going fishing, watching westerns, the Walking Dead and reading Louis L’amour books.
He was preceded in death by parents, Fred and Auda Garrett Dial; brother, Roger Dial; infant brother, Darrell Dial; and sisters, Janet Gore and Diana King.
He is survived by wife, Tammy Jo Lee Dial of Byrdstown; son, John Covey of Byrdstown; sisters, Danette Miller of Monterey and Carla Bailey of Cookeville; brother, Randall Dial and wife, Judy of Rickman; sister-in-law, Judy Cooper Dial of Rickman; nephew, Dewayne Dial of Rickman; and several other nieces, nephews and friends.

Linda F. Hooks Gentry, 74 of Cookeville, passed away on March 16 at the Signature Health and Rehab in Putnam County. Funeral services were held on March 20 from the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston. Interment followed in the Eckel Cemetery. Bro. Jack Honeycutt officiated.
She was born in Rickman on Jan.12, 1944. She was a member of the Freeview Church of Christ. She will be greatly missed by her family and all that who knew her.
She was preceded in death by parents, Clure and Auda (Bilbrey) Stewart.
She is survived by husband, William Gentry; son: Gerard Hooks; daughter, Donna Knight; sister, Thelma Bowers; grandsons, Matthew Judd, Andrew Judd and Jared Judd.

He was born on April 18, 1972. He loved drawing, listening to classic rock, spending time with his family and being with his son, Levi.
