L.A. Could See New Soccer Practice Field

Athletes could see a fresher, greener, but smaller ball field at Livingston Academy, if the Overton County Board of Education okays a request for a separate practice field as a step toward saving their worn down turf for game night.

David Howard, who has been involved with the soccer program for the last six years at the middle school and at the high school for the last two years, said the soccer field has experienced some wear and tear and made a proposal during a school board work session on Tuesday night.
