Firefighters Express Concerns

Several firefighters from varying fire departments expressed their concerns about a discussion that was held last month when Overton County Ambulance Service Director Jim Morgan proposed to use a Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) to build a new ambulance substation that would possibly be enjoined with the Rickman Volunteer Fire Department (RVFD).

Volunteer fire department personnel shared their opinion with the Overton County Public Safety Committee during their Thursday night meeting on possible uses for the $325,000, no match grant.
