Aldermen Approve Liquor Standards

The Overton County Mayor and Board of Alderman discussed retail package liquor stores during their work session on Tuesday night and made some decisions that would affect the ordinances on this matter in their regular meeting: approving liquor stores in all four commercial zones, no limits to the number of stores allowed and no distance requirements.

Mayor Curtis Hayes welcomed two new aldermen that made their first appearance on the board that night during the work session, Alderman Chris Speck and Alderman Kelly Coleman.
