Overton County Commissioners approved a drug court grant that totaled almost $1 million when they met in regular session last night.
The grant, known as SAMHSA (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration), is for a total of $984,171 for the period of 2018 through 2022. There is no match for the grant, and commissioners approved the initial application in December of last year. It will benefit the Overton County Recovery Court.
