Teachers, Principals Hired

The Overton County School Board met on June 18 to discuss several purchases that were presented in effort to improve area schools and to vote on whether these projects plans are to be included in next year’s budget.

During the work session, the Board reviewed information provided by Jenny Smith about Well-Child, a school health provider that would conduct annual health screenings including sports physicals for athletes. Well-Child would also provide vision, fluoride treatment, as well as other health services at no cost to the school, district or parent.
