The Overton County School Board held a work session on May 8 regarding infrastructure at area schools. Technology Coach and Mathematics Teacher Brent Thrasher saught approval from the Board after he presented information that would improve internet access at area schools; however, the project was tabled to a later date due to the current dynamics occurring within the budget. A regular meeting immediately followed.
Thrasher began by explaining that each school in Overton County receives a fixed amount of funds from E-Rate on a five-year span that supplies funds for schools and libraries
