Carter Hayes and Jakob Craig each scored 19 points in a dominating 71-53 win in the Wildcats district opening game against Smith County.
The Wildcats got started early and never turned down the tempo against the Owls. The Owls never once was ahead at any point in the game. In the first quarter, Livingston went on a 7-2 run to begin the game. With the score 10-4, Livingston went on another run. A 6-0 Wildcat run made the score 14-5 midway through the first. The Wildcats continued to battle and Kyle Allen had the final two pointer of the quarter. The first quarter ended 18-10.
