The Lady Wildcats won their first district game against Smith County Friday night. They battled all night in a back and forth game, picking up the 42-38 victory.
The first quarter was a bit of a low scoring defensive struggle between both teams. The Lady Owls led the game 12 to 6 early on in the second quarter. The Lady Wildcats battled back and Amy Rogers eventually tied the game up at 12, which built up some momentum for LA. After nearly four more minutes of back and forth action, the second quarter ended and Livingston led by 1. The score at the half was Livingston 18 and Smith County 17.
