A group of residents in the area of McCormick Road in Livingston attended the Overton County Highway and Property Committee meeting last Tuesday to voice their concerns over the new Verizon cell phone tower that was being constructed in their neighborhood.
“I just don’t want it there. You shouldn’t have to live next to something that emits radio frequency or anything and be able to throw a rock and hit it from your front yard. That’s just not right, it shouldn’t be that close to a residential area,” said resident Sherry Arflin.
