The driver of a Chevy Spark, 22-year-old Nicole Lee, was transported via ambulance to Livingston Regional Medical Center, according to the Tennessee Highway Patrol, after this accident Monday. Her passenger, 44-year old Lisa Lee, was trapped inside the vehicle until responders rescued her and was then transported by helicopter to Skyline Medical Center. Both were wearing their seatbelts. The accident was a result of another vehicle, driven by 78-year-old Sanford Matthews, crossing the centerline and hitting Nicole Lee’s vehicle. Matthews was transported to Livingston Regional Medical Center via ambulance and was cited for failure to exercise due care, the report states.
