Livingston Academy Anglers Compete At SAF World Finals

Three teams from Livingston Academy traveled to Florence, Alabama on June 24 to begin open practice on Pick Wick Lake for the Student Angler Federation High School World Finals.

In this tournament $170,000 in prizes and scholarships would be awarded, two $24,000 scholarships to Bethel University, two $20,000 scholarships to Bacone College (with the addition of two $20,000 scholarships to the top 2 female anglers), $10,000 in scholarships from the FLW and an additional $18,000 in scholarships from The Bass Federation (TBF). Prizes included: big screen TVs, Laptop computers, Go Pros, kayaks, gift cards from Cabelas, Lowrance units, motorguide trolling motors, Saint Croix Rods and every senior (130 registered) received a Favorite casting rod, as well as all 664 anglers in attendance were given something from event sponsors during their week in Florence.
