Kenny C. Cozine

Kenny C. Cozine, 40 of Lillington, NC, passed away April 24. Funeral Services were held April 30 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston. Burial followed in the Netherland Cemetery.

He was born in Yosilanti, MI on August 2, 1976. He loved drag racing and hunting. He enjoyed working on mustangs.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Truman & Blanche Cozine.

Surviving relatives include his parents, Ricky Cooper & Sima Chaiya Cozine; sister, Emma Sims (Greg) of Georgia; son, William Cozine of NC; uncle, Freddie Cozine and wife Carolyn; aunt, Debrah Gomez of San Antonio, TX.

 

Lula Irene Killmon Myers

Lula Irene Killmon Myers, 95, of Livingston, passed away April 27 at the Overton County Health & Rehab center. Funeral services were held on April 29 from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home. Burial was at the Overton County Memorial Gardens.

She was born in Clay County on February 21, 1922. She was a member of Walnut Grove Church of Christ. She loved being with her family, reading her bible, growing flowers and quilting.

She is preceded in death by her parents John Dunning and Mattie Dunning Dailey; first husband, Domer Killmon; second husband, Horace Myers; son, James Robert Killmon; sister, Isalee Glasscock, Ina Ruth Dailey, Pauline Young; brothers, Dale Dailey, Willie Dailey.

She is survived by; son, Jerry Killmon; grandchildren, Dewayne, & John J. Killmon, Danny Killmon, Jamie Killmon Norris; eight great grandchildren, six great, great grandchildren; brother, JB Dailey. Pallbearers were JB Killmon, John J Killmon, Dewayne Killmon, Ronnie Killmon, Gary Killmon and Dwain Maynord.

 

James J.B. Smith

James J.B. Smith, 78, of the Taylors Crossroads Community passed away April 30 at the Overton County Health and Rehab. Funeral services will be held today from the chapel of Speck Funeral Home in Livingston with Bro. Bobby Gore officiating. Burial will be in the Fellowship Cemetery.

He was born in Overton County on September 8, 1938. He attended the Church of Christ at Antioch. He was a member of the National Guard. He loved farming and making music, he played a variety of musical instruments, he loved telling stories and being with his friends at the Independence Community Center.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward Grover and Verdie Ann Speicer Smith; and daughter Shelia Smith; brother, Vechel Smith; sisters, Lola Conner, Alma Conner, Jewel Newberry, Ruby Smith and Delcie Heiny.

Surviving relatives include his wife Ruby Dean Taylor Smith; son Terry Smith and wife Micki; daughter Patricia McCandles and husband James; grandchildren, Michael Smith and wife Felecia, Meghan Smith; great grandchild, Bronson Smith; brothers, Bill Smith and wife Elise, Dustin Smith and wife Becky, Loyd Smith and wife Shirley; several nieces and nephews.

 

Norma Faye Abston

Norma Faye Abston, 68, of the Fellowship Community of Allons passes away on Aprill 22 at her residence. Funeral services were held April 25 from the chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston with Bro. Brett Gibbons officiating. Burial in the Fellowship Cemetery.

She was born in Byrdstown April 4, 1949. She loved her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents Merman Clay and Freely Pearl Reynolds Johnson; her daughter, Michelle Reagan; sons, Chris Reagan, Billy Glen Reagan; grandson, William Glen reagan; brother, William Johnson.

Surviving relatives include her husband Elmer Abston; sons, Cody Reagan, Wayne Reagan; daughters, Melissa Bilbrey, Morgan Reagan, Kayla Cope, Shemina Mansell; step son, Kevin Abston; grandchildren, Nikita Mansell, Reshaia Mansell, Tyson Cope, Davin Liam Mansell, Brad Bilbrey, Brian Bilbrey, Amanda Fulton, Diana Reagan and Tyler Greenwood; brothers, Mark Johnson, Herman Johnson; sister Dorothy Copeland.

 

Gary Lee Head

Gary Lee Head, 71, of Monroe passed away at his residence on April 26. Funeral services were held May 1 at the Chapel of the Hall Funeral Home of Livingston with burial following today at 2:30 p.m. at the Chattanooga National Cemetery in Chattanooga, TN.

He was born in Pricetown Community of Moss in Clay County. He was a member of the Church of Christ.

He was preceded in death by his parents, L.B. Head and Opal Price Head; granddaughter Tamara Head; Grandson, Adam Head; Brother, David Head and daughter-in-law, Sherry Head.

Surviving relatives include sons, Jason Head and his wife Amy, Gary Head Jr. and his wife Kim, Derek Head ; sister, Brenda Stafford;grandchildren, Abigail Head, Alexis Head, Autumn Head; step grandchildren, Jenna Collins, Allie Collins, John Collins and several nieces, nephews, cousins, family and friends.

 

Anna Charlene Key

Anna Charlene Key, 48, of Livingston passed away at Cookeville Regional Medical Center on April 23. Funeral services were held from the chapel of Hall Funeral Home in Livingston with Bro. Brent Tevebaugh officiating. Burial followed at Mt. Gilead Cemetery in Sparta. She was born on July 20, 1968 in Cartersville, Georgia. She was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents Charlie Eugene Usrey and Mary Ann Manus Usrey.

Surviving relatives include her husband Stephen Key; son; James Matthew Sherrer; step son Matthew Key; step daughter, Kellei Troxell and husband Jordan; grandson, Lucas Matthew Sherrer; step grandson, landon Troxell; sister Karen Jett; niece, Christin Ann Jett. Pallbearers were Terry Key, Matthew Key, David Harris, Dewayne Lawson, Jordan Troxell and Skyler Bouslog.
