The Overton County school system is doing a bit of scrambling to keep their buses on the road.
School board members were told in a work session last week that the system is in need of some new drivers.
“We’ve had a couple that had to retire that we weren’t expecting to retire,” Director of Schools Dr. Mark Winningham said. “They’re filling in with substitute drivers right now.”
