The Livingston Mayor and Board of Aldermen has approved the sale of several thousand dollars in surplus equipment from the inventory of the city police department.

“These are items that were obtained from funds from the Livingston Police Department Drug Fund,” police chief Greg Etheredge said in a letter to the board. “Many of the items have been in use for at least three years … or are too cost effective to make operational.”
