Thomas L. Cross, age 75, of Fountain Run, KY, a native of Clay County, passed away Tuesday evening, Feb. 10, at Monroe County Medical Center in Tompkinsville, Ky. Funeral services were conducted at 11 a.m., Friday, Feb. 13, at the Fountain Run Funeral Home with Bro. Danny Patrick officiating. Interment followed in the Fountain Run Cemetery in Fountain Run, Ky. Thomas L. Cross was born October 19, 1939 in Clay County, to the late Jim and Cindy (Johnson) Cross. He was a farmer and attended the First Baptist Church in Fountain Run. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Geraldean Cross, brothers, Frankie, Omas J., Elsimer and Norman Cross and granddaughter, Vickie Carver. His survivors include, son, Bill Cross and wife, Beth of Tompkinsville; daughters, Linda Carver, of Tompkinsville; Becky Howard and husband, Terry, of Fountain Run, and Jennifer Powell and husband, Johathan, of Russellville, Ky.; sister, Irene Crowe and husband, Tom, of the White Oak Ridge Community; 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Michael Simmons, Chris Carver, Chris Sutton and G.C. Key served as honorary pallbearers.  Bobby Vibbert, Eddie Jones, Dustin Garmon, Marshall Veach, Jonathan Powell and Joey Graves served as pallbearers. Family request memorial contributions to Fountain Run Cemetery.
