We can no longer get together,
Or even chat on the telephone.
For it has been a lot of years (10)
Since God called you home.
How lovely it would be
To share tender words and a kiss.
But know I just thank God for you
And that I had you for a while
And each time I think of you,
My sweet mother.
Those thoughts always make me smile (cry).
I love and miss you, Mom!
