Gregory Stephen Moore, 24, of Livingston passed away Dec. 4 in Livingston. The family has chosen cremation. Anderson-Upper Cumberland Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Gregory Stephen Moore was born Oct. 2, 1987 in Cookeville to the late Sandra Moore. He was a mechanic.
Surviving relatives include: his wife, Kimberly Beth Moore of Livingston; sons, Jayce and Jayden Moore of Jamestown; stepsons, Ethan Barlow, Evan Barlow and Ellex Barlow; and uncle, Steve and wife Marla Moore of Sparta.
Mildred J. (McCowan) Phillips
Mildred J. (McCowan) Phillips, 80, of Anderson, IN passed away Dec. 3 at St. John’s Medical Center. Funeral services were held Dec. 7 at Brown-Butz-Diedring Funeral Home with Pastor Oliver McCowan officiating. Entombment followed in the East Maplewood Cemetery.
Mildred J. (McCowan) Phillips was born Jan. 23, 1931 in Overton County to Silas and Allie Mae (Wilson) McCowan. She retired in 1996 from Delco-Remy after 42 years and was a member of the UAW-CIO Local #662. Mildred was a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her son, Bernie Phillips; and brother-in-law, Horace Howard.
Surviving relatives include: her daughter, Cathy and husband Larry James of Anderson, IN; daughter-in-law, Carol Phillips of Anderson, IN; grandchildren, Wendi and husband Matt Russell of Cicero, Tisha and husband Josh O’Neill of Phenix City, AL, Andy and wife Laci Phillips and Toby and wife Amy James all of Anderson, IN; great-grandchildren, Nate Russell, Josh Russell, Katie O’Neill, Abbie O’Neill, Kelsey Phillips, Arianna Phillips, Tyler James and Alexis James; brothers and sisters, Fred and wife Sylvia McCowan of Anderson, IN, Evelyn Howard, Estle and wife Lib McCowan, Jimmy and wife Bennie McCowan, Carlie and wife JoAnn McCowan and Harlie and wife Gail McCowan all of Tennessee.
James Robert Pardue
James Robert Pardue, 80, of Livingston passed away Dec. 8 at Livingston Regional Hospital. Funeral services were held Dec. 10 at the chapel of Hall Funeral Home in Livingston with Bro. Tim Beaty officiating. Interment followed in the Overton County Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers were: Gage Sons, Scott Copeland, Cody Cole, Matt Geisling, Clay Franklin, Gary Pardue, Michael Mace and Chris Morrison.
James Robert Pardue was born Feb. 10, 1931 in Jamestown.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herlin and Zelma Collins Pardue; first wife, Tina Pardue; brothers, Carlis Pardue, Joe Pardue, Glen Pardue and Donald Pardue; son grandson, Corey Brown.
Surviving relatives include: his wife, Joyce (Owen) Pardue of Livingston; daughter, Janice and husband Leo Ugorowski of Michigan; son, Bobby and wife Donna Pardue of Celina; step-children, Bessie and husband Roger Sheean of Vermont, Marie and husband Lawrence Woodward, Tina and husband Andy Longe all of Vermont, Dee and husband Danny Pardue and Ralph and wife Shirley Brown all of Livingston; sisters, Ima G. Seber of Allons and Eleanor and husband Buck Hooks of Livingston; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Troy White, Jr.
Troy White, Jr., 56, of Indianapolis, IN passed away Dec. 5 in Indianapolis, IN. Funeral services were held Dec. 8 at the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Bro. Marlon Winningham officiating. Interment followed in the White Cemetery.
Troy White, Jr. was born Dec. 28, 1954 in Overton County. He was a mechanic for Ellis Trucking Company and was a Shriner.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Troy, Sr. and Betty Murphy White; brother, James White; and sister, Judy Gail White.
Surviving relatives include: his sister, Brenda Kay and husband Charles D. Carter of Indianapolis, IN; and nieces and nephew, Jamie Chisholm, Jennifer Deal and Sam Cox all of Indianapolis, IN.
James J.R. Bull
James J.R. Bull, 72, of Rickman passed away Dec. 1 at Livingston Regional Hospital. Funeral services were held Dec. 3 at the chapel of Speck Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Short officiating. Interment followed in the Bull Cemetery.
Pallbearers were: Cody Poston, Justin Poston, Bryan Wingate, John Bull, Michael Bowman, Roger Masters and James Glen Bull.
James J.R. Bull was born May 18, 1939 in Jackson County. He was an oil driller and of the Baptist faith.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Fred Denton and Ruby C. Edmonds Bull; daughter, Teresa June Lundy; and grandson, Cole J. Hammock.
Surviving relatives include: his wife, Alice Bull of Rickman; son, James Glen Bull of Rickman; daughters, Toni and husband Albert Garrett of Rickman, Delecia and husband Bill Spence and Frankie Mae Bull Perdue all of Cookeville; sisters, Anna Rose Bilbrey of Livingston and Linda Carol and husband Richard Vickers of Cookeville; and brothers, Haskell and wife Joyce Bull of Murfreesboro and Randy Bull and girlfriend, Angie Buck of Rickman.
