Triple P-Positive Parenting Program

The Parent-Child Connection, a parent’s support group, will be meeting Mondays from 4-5:30 p.m. at The Stephens Center at 616 North Church St.  The theme for the Nov. 14 meeting will be “Parent Traps.” For more information, call 823-6432.  There is no charge for PCC sessions.

Beekeepers Meeting

Overton County Beekeepers will have their monthly meeting on Nov. 17 at 6:30 p.m. at the Millard Oakley Library.  Guest speaker will be George Martin with presentation on wax products and items for Christmas. Election of officers is also on the agenda.

Board Of Education Meeting

The Overton County Board of Education will meet in regular session Nov. 21 at the Central Education Office as directed by Chairman Howard Miller. The open door work session will begin at 6 p.m. and the Board meeting will immediately follow.
